Public Health Nutrition topics

Below is a list of post graduate, post-entry level Public Health Nutrition topics available by distance education, that have also been peer reviewed through the APHNAC network.  Topics were peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers, using a peer review template.

Topics developed through the PHERP project were also guided by a topic development process and guidelines on the 'advanced level' topics.  Topics developed through the PHERP project include Food Policy in Public Health Practice (Flinders), Applied Nutritional Epidemiology (Menzies/CDU) and Obesity Prevention and health promoting settings (Deakin), all available for enrolment in 2005.

The following Topics will be available in 2006:

  • Nutrition in International Health. The University of Queensland
  • Capacity Building for Public Health Nutrition (Griffith)
  • Food, culture, behaviour and health (Newcastle)
  • Public Health Program evaluation (Sydney)
  • Food, Health and the Environment (Canberra)
